For first time half iron distance or 70.3 participants. Ideally you will have raced sprint and Olympic triathlons for a few years but I understand that isn't the trend these days. Plan is ideal for the person who is seeking balance in sport, family, work and life. No strength work in the plan. If you want strength look at the Novice +plan. The only difference is a strength plan.
