Beginner Program
This program helps guide someone who is just beginning their journey in the sport of triathlons. It builds your fitness in each of the three sports safely and guides you through three different phases of training.
All the guesswork is taken out of what to do for your workouts! You will start by training at moderate intensity levels to help your body get experience swimming, cycling and running. Once that has taken place we add in just enough faster speedwork to help you gain the fitness needed to have a great experience on race day.
Choose 8, 11, or 14 workouts per week.

About the Workouts
All swim workouts come with specific sets you can follow, which enables you to do more than just swim back and forth in the pool. This will help build your proficiency, strength and confidence in the water. Each bike and run workout has a description of what to focus on in the session as well as a suggestion on what type of terrain to try to do the workout on. This all helps you understand all the key aspects of swimming, cycling and running that will guarantee you have a great experience in training and at the race.
The Beginner Program comes with weekly swim, bike and run sessions as well as a strength-training program. When you put together your training schedule you can choose between 8, 11, or 14 workouts per week. Each of those three options comes with two strength session per week and then the remaining workouts are split evenly between swimming, cycling and running.
No prior triathlon experience is required to do the Beginner Program. However, it is advisable to be able to swim about 500 yards or meters in a pool (it doesn’t have to be nonstop, though), bike easy for about 30-minutes, and jog about 20-minutes. From that as a starting point you can use the Beginner Program to accelerate your learning curve as you enter one of the most exciting and rewarding sports on the planet.
