NCAA
Evan competed at Indiana University for his collegiate career. He was a three-time competitor at the NCAA Cross Country championships, and as a junior, lead the Hoosiers to an eighth-place national finish.
Professional Career
Since graduating from Indiana University, Evan has won a national title in the 10,000m, and represented Canada at the 2017 World Cross Country Championships. Being new to the roads, Evan has seen some immediate success. Evan recently won his first national title on the roads in the 10k, and represented Canada at the 2018 World Half Marathon Championships.

Good workout, better workout than I’ve had in a while. Felt strong and a little more peppy than the last month of training, which I feel has to do with doing weights more frequently and getting stronger with the bump in mileage, averaged ~2:56/km

Workout @ waterfront trail in Whitby/Pickering in trainers; Solid long run workout. Longest run of my life and felt pretty strong. The first couple of 5k’s felt really comfortable and smooth, and then the last 2k of the last tempo I felt really bad and like I was “bonking”; fuelling - 20g/250mL Maurten before run, 20g/250mL after first 5k, 20g/250mL after last 5k tempo, and 20g/250mL when back at the car after the workout. Felt like I should have took something right before last 5k tempo. Overall a solid session today, and happy with feeling stronger
