NCAA

Evan competed at Indiana University for his collegiate career. He was a three-time competitor at the NCAA Cross Country championships, and as a junior, lead the Hoosiers to an eighth-place national finish.

Professional Career

Since graduating from Indiana University, Evan has won a national title in the 10,000m, and represented Canada at the 2017 World Cross Country Championships. Being new to the roads, Evan has seen some immediate success. Evan recently won his first national title on the roads in the 10k, and represented Canada at the 2018 World Half Marathon Championships.

Ran the Re-fridgee-eighter 8k in Waterloo this morning to get in a solid race / workout effort in. Nice event, great volunteers, local race. Roads were better than I anticipated, and the police escort cars allowed me to race in the driving lane at parts of the course opposed to the bike lanes which were a little sloppy. It started to freezing rain during my cool down so besides being cold, the weather cooperated well

Went back to Guelph lake trails for the run today. It's been snowing for about 2 days straight here in Guelph. Those trails seem to have better footing than the bike lanes and sidewalks, so it was a good call on my part to drive back out there - really nice run
